A few reasons to start brewing your own beer
The great Benjamin Franklin was once quoted as saying, “Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. The United States loves their beer and on average drinks more than 6 billion gallons per year; that is second in the world only to China. Out of the fifty states Idaho ranks twelve on that list with 30.4 gallons of beer consumed per person each year. If you love beer but think the big brands of beer like Bud, Miller, and Coors don’t have any taste, or lovr micro-brews but can’t always afford them home brewing may be something for you to look into trying. It is a great hobby and once you have purchased all the necessary supplies for your first batch it can actually save you quite a lot of money. The finished product has much more flavor than the major brands and is cheaper than purchasing a micro brew.

That is an awesome quote from Benjamin Franklin although it doesn’t surprise me, he was quite the character. There’s a lot to be said about doing things yourself, and there’s also a reason why home cooking always tastes better than store bought. I guess I would expect that to naturally carry over to home brewing as well!
ReplyDeleteWell I don’t drink beer and I think beer is not the only thing to make us happy, but there are other things that can make us happy as well. I also agree for those who love beer and to make their own beer at home is better to buy from store, because you can save money and also drink cleaner beer, because nobody knows how they make beer.
ReplyDeleteYeah when I made my own batch as was very skeptical about what it would actually taste like but after that first batch I was hooked on brewing my own. It is a very good point that beer isn't the only thing that makes us happy but it also doen't hurt!
